Here are my favorite Tweets from these innovative leaders in educational technology:
Aside: It was refreshing to find out that Tony Vincent is not only an expert in the world of apps, but also an inventor. Mr. Vincent has created his own iPad app called Stick Around (@StickAroundApp).
The link provided in the Tweet shows us a Mashable Page (social media similar to Facebook). The post says that at the San Francisco's Nourse Theater there was an annual "Bringing the Noise for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.," celebration of the civil rights leader. the audience members received a card with the prompt: "What hurts you or your community more than fists?" Then the audience members were encouraged "to respond on Instagram with an image and the hashtag #MLKSpokes. (Spokes is Youth Speaks' youth advisory board.)"
Instagram is also a new way in which people are communicating across social media. I found Ms. Hamilton's inclusion of this Tweet on her feed to be technologically edgy. Also, I liked the fact that Instagram was used as a response for a celebration that is honored in the classroom and in many of our school districts.
